Unique is an understatement at Apple Tree Golf Course

Unique is an understatement… Located against the backdrop of the majestic Cascade Mountain Range, Apple Tree Golf Course in Yakima Washington offers a stunning panorama view that will leave you in awe. Designed by John Steidel, it's clear he succeeded in his vision to make this one of the most unique and fun rounds of golf you will play in your life. As you make your way through the course, you'll be greeted by rolling hills, lush fairways, and the sight of apple orchards stretching as far as the eye can see. The course was cut directly through an apple orchard, hence why the resort embraces everything apple. These orchards have existed for over 100 years, and it's encouraged to pick apples from the surrounding trees and enjoy a fresh snack. The fusion of Washington's breathtaking beauty with meticulously crafted holes creates an atmosphere of tranquility and excitement.

Highlight Hole

Hole #17: This par-3 hole measures 180 yards and is the definition of a signature hole. Of course these crazy bastards built an island green in the shape of an apple. Not only that, but the tee box is elevated to make the view of the apple that much more pronounced. Sometimes holes like this can come off as gimmicky, but not this one. It is so well designed and constructed, it will leave you craving more and sneaking in a few extra shots just to recapture the memory. The stem of the apple is the bridge to get on the island green, while the leaf is designed as the sandbunker. Truly brilliant design and craftsmanship.
