Designed by renowned golf course architect Gil Hanse, Mossy Oak Golf Club seamlessly blends the beauty of its surroundings with the art of golf course design. Hanse's philosophy of "least disturbance" is evident throughout the course, as he carefully preserved the natural features of the land, creating a layout that feels organic and harmonious. One of the most remarkable aspects of the course is its abundance of wildlife. As you make your way around the course, keep your eyes peeled for glimpses of deer gracefully grazing in the distance or a majestic bald eagle soaring overhead. You’ll even be able to spot various species of birds, including blue herons and egrets.
Highlight Hole
Hole #17
Hole #11: The 17th Hole at Mossy Oak Golf Club, a challenging par 5 that promises excitement and strategic play. Measuring 523 yards from the championship tees, this hole offers a variety of obstacles and opportunities that will put your skills to the test. This hole is known for its 80 yard long bunker, which will swallow you up if you miss your approach shot. This bunker is considered the “kiss of death” because you can kiss a great score goodbye if you hit it in here. It has ruined many great rounds of golf with one simple mishit. And yet, having this challenge to finish out the course is what golf is all about. Overcoming a larger than life obstacle and finishing strong.
