Experience the divine… Pasatiempo Golf Course is a historic gem that offers a world-class golfing experience.  Located in Santa Cruz County, this course promises an unforgettable journey through its timeless landscape. Designed by the legendary Alister MacKenzie, renowned for his work on Augusta National Golf Club- will leave you feeling fulfilled and like you just walked on holy land. Pasatiempo was MacKenzie’s “favorite layout” and where he made his American home, which still borders the sixth fairway. Prepare to be captivated by the natural beauty surrounding Pasatiempo Golf Course. Nestled within the rolling hills of Santa Cruz County, this course offers picturesque views of Monterey Bay and the Santa Cruz Mountains. Lush fairways bordered by towering pine and cypress trees create a serene atmosphere, while vibrant floral displays and pristine bunkers add a touch of elegance to the landscape. As you make your way through the course, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of tranquility and natural splendor.

Highlight Hole

Hole #18

Hole #18: This par-3 hole measures 173 yards… It’s very unique a course finishes with a par 3. However, MacKenzie saved his best for last. One of the most visually stunning holes on the course, it leads to a fond appreciation of all the design elements littered throughout the course. The green is cut in such a unique way, it makes you realize just how treacherous this hole would be if you ended up in one of the bunkers. The bunkers extend from the ravine/hazard area up onto the front edge of the green. Chances of a par save from here are close to ZERO. A lot of golfers may not like finishing their round on a par 3, but trust us you’ll learn to be completely head over heels with this course once your done playing the finishing hole.
